The Circle of Pride is joining with the Aquidneck Island Village to
invite you to RISHM’s Newport Black History Walking Tour
on Wednesday, August 26 from 10:30am to 12:00pm,
meeting at the Pilot House, Bowen’s Wharf
in Newport RI.
The Circle of Pride is traveling to Aquidneck Island Village to invite you to explore the rich Black History of Newport presented by the RI Slave History Medallions (
RISHM.org). Newport Black History Walking Tours – Lost Stories of Resistance & Freedom. Take a walk with us across Historic Hill to learn about – and honor – Newport’s Colonial Black American History. Join us on Wednesday, August 26th from 10:30am to 12:00pm in front of the Pilot House on Bowen’s Wharf in Newport RI. Private group discounted price: $20/person payable upon arrival.
