About this event

Compassionate Communication:
Listening from the Heart
Becoming more aware of our common, painful patterns of communicating, and replacing them with new compassionate skills, will improve all of our relationships.

Join life coach Kathy Black in this 60-minute zoom workshop as she introduces a foundational piece of Compassionate Communication: Deep Listening. Participants will learn new ways of listening that will immediately and positively impact all their conversations.
About Kathy Black:
Having explored a variety of mindfulness practices around the world, Kathy brings a remarkable depth of insight and wisdom to her work. Formally a statewide leader in older adult programs, Kathy has immersed herself in Marshall Rosenberg’s nonviolent communication for the last 10 years. She brings this philosophy to her coaching and teaching, and more recently, teaching Compassionate Conversations at URI’s OLLI program.
