Office Help - Volunteer in our office and assist with mailings, minor computer work, and more!

Barrington Village

Member Services Team -  Respond to calls from members, volunteers, and those enquiring about Barrington Village. Answer call directly from home! Four-hour shift one afternoon each week.

Communications Committee - Represent Barrington Village on The Village Common Communications Committee. Prefer a background in communications and marketing, maybe experience in website and social media development or just a strong interest in communications.

Drivers - Become a volunteer driver on your own schedule. You can provide short-distance rides for members in Barrington--or further if you are up for that. Your choice. Training, vetting, and your own car are required.

  

Edgewood Village

Yard and Property Work - Help members with beginning- and end-of-season garden chores: leaf raking, snow shoveling and related needs. Put out and retrieve garbage and recycle bins on a weekly basis. Occasional lifting may be necessary..


Membership Ambassador - Respond to requests for membership, provide introductory information to and complete application with potential member virtually or in person, and follow up with welcome call. Training is provided.

Office Services - Provide organizational help with village documents, including data entry, writing of thank you notes, and digital maintenance of files related to Edgewood Village. Computer skills required, and a familiarity with Google products helpful.

Volunteer Leader - Respond to requests to volunteer and determine suitability of candidates. Assist with application process. Provide comprehensive orientation with support from TVC, create program reports, schedule volunteers, and maintain and motivate volunteers through team meetings and activities. Training is provided.

Drivers - Become a volunteer driver on your own schedule. Provide short-distance rides for members in Edgewood. Training, vetting, and your own car are required.

Providence Village

Neighborhood Circle Co-Leader - Help form a new Circle of Providence Village members. The Circle will comprise interested nearby neighbors who regularly meet in person, or by Zoom, to enjoy and support each other.

Drivers - Become a volunteer driver on your own schedule. Provide short-distance rides for members in Providence. Training, vetting, and your own car are required.

Social Activities - Help us meet our members' needs for social engagement by planning (safe) events, activities, and outings.


Westerly Village

Leadership Team - Our team enjoys working together and is always open to having new people join us. We welcome diverse perspectives and experiences--both of which only make us a better and stronger community organization. We also like to have back-up persons in place for each of our key roles--to help ensure flexibility (of volunteer's time commitments) and for long-term sustainability. Email us if you'd like to talk about possible opportunities to join the team.

 

Office Services - Volunteer from your own home and computer with great flexibility on your time and possibly an opportunity to learn some new things. Some tasks include responding to general email inquiries, tracking volunteer and member interests, updating certain tools or documents used. We can easily train you!
